Afnan Foundation is a non-political, non-profit, humanitarian aid organization established by a group of Somali intellectuals in 2022 to respond to the suffering and plights of their communities that were badly affected by various natural and man-made disasters.

Afnan Foundation is run by a three members Board of Directors. It has a properly constituted managing body with clearly defined rules and responsibilities for office bearers. It is registered with the Ministry of the interior, Federal Reconciliation Somalia.
The founders included a group of highly educated social workers from the same locality committed to offering Relief, health care services, education, and other human welfare services in the community.
